A dark fantasy illustration of a woman with a blindfold, holding a glowing orb with cracked surface and the word 'Emperor' on it. She wears a hooded cloak with wisps of smoke, and there are beams of light and sparks around her.

Prophecy was formed in 2016 in Red Deer, Alberta, by vocalist Scott Anonson, and guitarist Alec Kabel, under the name Paraselene. Soon after, they recruited bassist Paul Krygsveld, and drummer Garnet Caton. After a hiatus in 2017, the band reformed in 2022 under the name Prophecy. In 2024 they recruited Everett Johnson on rhythm, and ANDY! on the drums. Prophecy combines the classic feel of old school metal, with a fusion of modern styles and sounds, heavy bass, powerful vocals, and driving guitars.

We represent the past, present, and future of the metal genre.

We are Prophecy.
